Combination
This combination shot shows the design processes and ideas i had along the way. Including a precedent image, work drawing, render and the final product.
This is a mock up of the model made from the lazer cutter, it is made from cardboard but was useful in the way it allowed me to experiment with different ways of joining the pieces together.
These photos and drawings are part of my development stage, these show the working and steps i took to get to my final idea which allowed me to produce my final piece of work from acrylic.
Proposal
For my second project I want to create a simple cube form which allows each layer of my iteration to be viewed separately. I want to use acrylic and wire to assemble this form so that each layer can be seen from the top, bottom and side of the cube. My precedent images focus on the multiple layers that can be placed on top of each other, I like the effect this creates as it adds complexity to the simple form.
Precedent Images
The iteration i have chosen is not my 81 from last project but is a more dense form whch will be more interesting to break apart. The images i have chosen to use as my precedents show the qualities i want my final model to show. The layers especially caught my eye as something i wanted to experiment with.
